“What My Catholic
Education Means to Me”
by
Christian M. –
Grade 4
When I think about my future, I know I
will be able to thank the teachers who have helped me. I am happy about being able to learn in a
spiritual environment. The Catholic
school helps me understand that only my best is good enough. The teachers expect me to be respectful
and honest. I am comfortable knowing
I will get a good education. I think
that having Catholic schools is a way of God preparing us for the
future. When I go to school, I know
that Mrs. Paul is trying her best to prepare us for the future. When I leave Blessed Sacrament, I plan to
continue in Catholic
School, for I will
find the same loving and caring people.
I love my school and God bless it.

“What
My Catholic Education Means to Me”
by
Khalid
R. – Grade 5
The key to my successful future is my
Catholic Education. I feel safe in a
Catholic environment, because I am challenged on a daily basis. Sister John Mary tells me only your best
is good enough. Our school motto is
“We Enter to Learn and Learn to Serve”.
Here are things I will remember in my life. I am blessed that I have a mother and a
father who are married and love their children very much. I am continuing to learn everyday through
the academics and sports in my life.
I have been going to a Catholic school ever since kindergarten and I
love all the teachers especially Mrs. Travers and Sr. John Mary. Mrs. Travers might be hard on us, but I
know she just wants us to learn. Sr.
John Mary has a great spirit and she believes that her students can learn
anything. My education is due to my
good foundation here.

“What My Catholic Education Means to Me”
by
Kriston D. – Grade 4
My Catholic Education
teaches me how to be Kind, and Loving to one another. It teaches my how to respect one Another
and express myself about God and not to be afraid to talk about my Religion
and Prayers. I learn that when I
pray to God it is good for the soul.
I also learn that when I sing and pray it is a Blessing. In my school I have been blessed to have
good teachers who care about their students and a principal that work hard
to help us learn more and be better readers, so that we can succeed more in
life. Being in a Catholic
Environment, I do not have to worry about bullies and gang members. I thank God everyday for blessing my
mother as a single parent to be able to send me to a Catholic School.

“What My Catholic
Education Means to Me”
by
Brandi B. – Grade 5
My Catholic school is important to
me. In Catholic school I learn about
God. I can learn about Religion and
not be afraid to speak out about my faith.
I am free to express myself and in my life by living a spiritual and
productive life here. I will be a
better person later. At my school we
have a motto. It is, “We enter to
learn and learn to serve”. I like my
school because all of the teachers are nice.
My homeroom teacher is Sr. John Mary
and my principal is Mrs. Paul. We
say a prayer every day for our school.
We all love to pray, because we love the Lord. I hope to continue in Catholic school for
a long time.

“What My Catholic Education Means to Me”
by
Marshawn Johnson
My Catholic Education is important to me
because I want to do great things with my life. I would like to be a Lawyer or a
basketball player. Everything that I
need to know, one day, I hope to use.
My teacher, Sr. John Mary, is always saying to us “you don’t learn
for a day but for life.” When I grow
up, I will remember this OLBSA and thank all the teachers who have helped
me while I was there. I will learn
all I can while I am a child. I will
thank God for allowing my parents to be able to send me to a Catholic School. If I continue to learn now, I can pass
everything that has been taught to me on to my family and friends.
God bless our School!
